Description:
The Solfest Festival is a small to mid-scale family orientated arts and music festival catering to a diverse range of tastes. It is a completely independent, family friendly event that is run by volunteers, all of whom are dedicated to providing a friendly, happy, relaxed event – where all generations of people can come together to enjoy each other’s company, take in the beautiful surroundings and listen to some fantastic music from all around the world.

 It hosts 5000 patrons, providing both on site camping, weekend and day tickets. The 2016 Solfest Festival will see a slightly scaled back festival on previous years, similar to the 2015 event, showing decreases in the number of patrons and thus, number of stages and types of acts performing.

 Solfest is a child and family friendly festival where young and old, often several generations of the same family can party and have fun together in the same place. Their aim is to provide something for everyone, from workshops and events in the Healing Garden to activities in the Children’s Arena, and a vast array of music and performance spaces around the festival’s site.
