Dashehra Diwali Mela is a contemporary celebration of the two very popular Hindu festivals, Dashehra and Diwali (festival of lights). Both these festivals commemorate the victory of good over evil.

Although these festivals have special significance to followers of Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism, the Event will be a cultural celebration in which people of all the diverse communities will participate.

Dashehra Diwali Mela is an inclusive, family friendly event. The organisers are pro-active in including people from all the communities through pre-event schools workshops programme and the marketing strategy, which is to promote Dashehra Diwali Mela as an inclusive event that will have something for everyone.
