LIVE EVENTS & SAFETY MANAGEMENT

FESTIVALS

LFX Events specialise in ensuring your festival is a cut above the rest. Our meticulous planning and design process will guarantee that everything is in place for a successful event from start to finish.

During festival season, we thrive on the busy climate, producing festivals of varying capacities all over the country. From stages to staffing, we have got you covered.

Event Planning & Design

With over 20 years experience creating and delivering live events, LFX are able to design and plan every aspect of your festival.

We begin the process of planning with a site visit, surveying your event site and reviewing the licences required to turn your plans and ideas into reality. We liase with the local and responsible authorities as well as chairing safety advisory groups, ensuring that everything is in place for your festival to go ahead.

We create a bespoke, scaled and accurate site plan for your festival, using CAD software, incorproating all of the required elements of the event. This will guarantee the smooth running of the festival in terms of crowd flow and maximising the customer experience.

As a critical component in the successful delivery of any event, we take charge of stakeholder relationship management. We make it a priority to ensure that the key stakeholders of your festival are kept in the loop and up to date with the latest developments.

At LFX, we like to be ahead of the game in terms of environmental management and green initiatives. From creating a bespoke Environmental Policy for your event, to exploring options around waste management and recycling, we take care to minimise our carbon footprint. In addition we partner with various industry approved environmental campaigns and green-event associations, making LFX are the perfect partner to ensure your event limits its impact on the planet whilst maintaining the highest standards of event delivery.

Event Safety

We offer a complete package to ensure that your festival complies with current event health and safety laws and assess any possible risks associated with your event.

We conduct a detailed and thorough risk assessment using crowd modelling and crowd dynamics. We study and profile the risks using the latest techniques – such as DIM (Design, Information, Management) ICE (Ingress, Circulation, Egress) modelling to ensure safe crowd flow throughout the festival.

Our highly qualified event safety team (NEBOSH, IOSH) fulfill all aspects of the event safety management and staffing for your event. This includes: liaising with the council and responsible authorities; offering consultancy of licence applications; preparing all necessary paperwork and presenting these at safety advisory group or multi-agency group meetings. We also cover on-the-ground requirements from build and break health and safety cover through to live event safety management for audiences from 1000 to 40,000 people.

With LFX on your team you can be assured the event is in safe hands.

    Post-event Evaluation

We take pleasure in creating long-lasting relationships with our clients. We like to view ourselves as partners in your event, rather than simply suppliers to it.

An essential part of our post-event evaluation is reflecting on each project and recording the effectiveness of each individal aspect. This allows the event to grow and the customer experience to be enhanced year-on-year.

To ensure a thorough evaluation, our events team take detailed notes and observations throughout the event delivery on all aspects, including:

    • Economic impact reporting
    • Consumer research
    • Site layout
    • Timings – both internal and advertised
    • Crowd management

All aspects of the event are captured in a single post-event report to be used and referred to in future planning, making an essential and important record of what went well, and what could be improved next time.
