At LFX we know events are often at the heart of a strong local community. Whether it’s a religious event or a family favourite such as bonfire night, we love bringing people together and you can rest assured that – by trusting LFX, we make great effort to truly understand the community’s needs and produce a bespoke event tailored to you.

Event Planning

We have been planning a broad range of events for over 20 years and take pride in bringing the community together. With our professional event team and event safety expertise, we will manage both your event and all safety aspects.

The process of planning a community event begins with a site visit and informal chat where we can survey your event site and listen to your ideas, then provide guidance and support regarding the necessary steps and licences required to turn your plans and ideas into reality.

We understand the value of a good relationship with the community in the lead up to an event, so we enjoy playing an active role and taking the lead on community liaison, acting as a point of contact for the local community which allows us to answer any queries promptly and accurately in the lead up to the event.

We also have a host of experience liaising with local and responsible authorities, ensuring that the relevant police and fire liaison is taken care of thoroughly and professionally. In addition, we can handle all communication with the local council, attending the relevant meetings and managing all of the corresponding documents.

We conduct a detailed and thorough risk assessment tailored to your event using crowd modelling and crowd dynamics. We study and profile the risks using the latest techniques, such as DIM (design, information, management) and ICE (ingress, circulation, egress) modelling to ensure safe crowd flow throughout the event.

At LFX we take pride in our meticulous organisation skills, ensuring that everything runs to time in the lead up and everyone involved in a community event is kept in the loop at all times. We can either take the lead or a backseat role in steering group meetings on behalf of the event, as well as working closely with volunteers to ensure that they are well-briefed in advance and given the support they need to thrive.

Our experience has shown that community events are highly rewarding, but are also often financially challenged and as a dresult we are proud to offe discounted rate for volunteer-led community events.

When delivering your community event, we provide a complete and full service from start to finish providing the event and production management – plus health & safety provision needed for your event to run smoothly.

Equally at home indoors and out, our events team are experienced at delivering events from 500 to 50,000 people, managing all aspects of technical production, including:

We also take full responsibility for any volunteers at your event, giving them a full briefing of the event, signing them in and out and ensuring that they fully understand their role in event.
